"I was listening to the Art Bell show a couple of years ago and heard him describe how he and his wife Ramona had discovered a wonderful condiment to put on a pizza just before eating it. The way Art described the experience he had somewhere in France I wondered if this was something that could be reproduced and marketed. I sent an e mail to Art and asked if he would consider sharing the recipe and allowing the product to be marketed to his many fans and the rest of the world. To my surprise Art responded to my e mail and was kind enough to send me a generous amount of the olive oil based elixir and  the recipe. I did a good amount of research on companies that could accurately reproduce what he was calling PIZZA PUNCH. Santa Barbara Olive Company, a family run olive producer, was contacted  I drove to their olive ranch north of Santa Barbara and we agreed to work together to bring this very different product to the public. Many taste tests have been conducted and everyone says they like and would buy it if it were available."
